Entering its fourth weekend, the Monroe Marketplace at 26 Still Road in the gym of the former Sacred Heart School, has already raised $20,000 for Sacred Heart Church.

Now, the marketplace has three-day weekend hours beginning this Friday, Nov. 27: Fridays, 2 to 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 35 vendors and new additions are onsite starting Black Friday, including Blue Bear, Simply Artistic, Kaizen Snacks and others.

The marketplace features local artisans, baked goods, retail clothing, home décor, holiday ornaments, personalized gifts and more. Carrero’s Sausage and Peppers food truck is also on site every weekend.

“Vendors are pleased with the turnout and have new found hope that they are earning a living,” said Lyn Cear, one of the marketplace’s organizers. “Thank you to the community for coming out and shopping with us.”

Cear stressed the pop-up marketplace is COVID-19 compliant, including aisle control, capacity limits, temperature taking and overall sanitizing, and offers gift givers a safe way of finding unique gifts for the people in their lives close to home.

Coming up:

· Breakfast and story time with Santa starting Dec. 5 through Dec. 20.

· Cookie decorating and “Paint and Sips” onsite starting Dec. 6.
