    Monroe Food Truck Festival to benefit Make -A-Wish Hudsson Valley

    The Town of Monroe will hold its next Food Truck Festival on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 61 O&R Road.

    Proceeds from the day will benefit Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley.

    Sponsors of the Food Truck Festival are: Beer World, Feerick Nugent MacCartney, Hawkins Delafield & Wood, MHR, Munistat, Nelson Pope Voorhis and Webster Bank.

    Here's the music lineup:

    Brotherhood: Noon - 12:45 p.m.

    Diablo Station: 1 - 1 :45 p.m.

    Geezus Butlers: 2 – 3 p.m.

    Twenty/20 Band: 3:15 – 4 p.m.

    Hillbilly Parade: 4:30 - 5:45 p.m.

    Only service dogs are allowed at the festival.

    No scare Halloween at Museum Village this weekend

    Museum Village is hosting its annual No Scare Halloween on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 19 and 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

    Wear your not-so-scary costumes and visit the buildings on the grounds of the museum, where there will be fun activities for children: hay maze, zip-line, face-painting, music and costume parade.

    Tickets are $12 for adults, $110 for seniors $8 for children (4-12); free for those under four.

    The Chocolate Expo returns to Museum Village

    Museum Village will once again host The Chocolate Expo on next Sunday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.!

    Taste, purchase, celebrate and otherwise indulge in delicious goodies such as ... chocolates. There also will be baked goods, specialty foods, cheeses, craft sodas, wines, coffees and teas.
