SUGAR LOAF - Was it the lead pipe or the revolver? Did it happen in the kitchen or in the billiard room? The Kings Theatre Company comedy “Clue: The Musical” premieres Friday, Aug. 13, at 8 p.m. at the Lycian Centre’s 100-seat lakeside stage, under a huge tent next to Creamery Pond in Sugar Loaf. Additional performances are Aug. 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22. All Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. and Sunday performances are at 3 p.m. This light-hearted production is based on the classic Parker Brothers board game with a cast of characters including Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum and Colonel Mustard. The audience draws the cards that start the game and they play along, helping to solve the crime. And no two performances are the same. Since its inception in 1993, the Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts has served the Hudson Valley region with presentations of well known Broadway productions as well as performances by many famous entertainers. If you go Seating under the tent for Clue: The Musical is limited. Wharf performances are $25 per person and include a free lemonade and cookie at intermission.
