'9 to 5: The Musical'

The Playhouse at Museum Village continues its 2019 season with the popular Broadway musical comedy, “9 to 5: The Musical.”

Performances are scheduled for Sept. 7, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21 at 8 p.m., and matinees on, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m., 15 and 22 at 3 p.m. with a special Saturday matinee on Sept. 21 at 2 p.m.

All performances are at The Playhouse at Museum Village, Route 17M, in Monroe.

The plot:

Three unlikely friends take control of their office and learn there is nothing they can't do, even in a man's world. Pushed to the boiling point, they concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. After they take drastic action to “distract” the boss, the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down.

Tickets to individual performances are $25 each, which includes dessert at intermission consisting of apple pie, ice cream, cheese, iced tea and coffee.

Group rates are available and reservations are suggested.
