Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus released the following statement on Tuesday after the announcement that Grammy award-winning country singer Tim McGraw will perform at the Orange County Fair Speedway at 8 p.m. on Aug. 14.

“Some of the best concerts that I have ever attended have been at the Orange County Fair,” Neuhaus said. “I’m very excited that management at the Fairgrounds has invested in the landmark facility. Bringing in a superstar such as Tim McGraw is a tangible sign that great things are on the horizon at the Fairgrounds.”

McGraw has released 15 albums in his career, with 10 of them hitting number one on the Top Country album charts. His albums have produced 65 singles, 25 of which hit number one on the Hot Country Charts.

“Orange County is excited to host country legend Tim McGraw,” said Orange County Director of Tourism Amanda Dana. “We applaud Chris Larsen and the Gurda family for attracting such an amazing performer to Orange County. A performer of Tim McGraw’s caliber will attract thousands of visitors to the region and will contribute significantly to our tourism economy.”

An Evening with Tim McGraw Tickets will be available on June 15 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com and the Orange County Fair Speedway Box Office.
