Monroe-Woodbury School District officials, community leaders, students and community members gathered Wednesday, May 29, to break ground for the school district’s athletic complex.

The $8.4 million project was approved by M-W residents on Oct. 23, 2018. The project includes many updates to the high school athletic fields, including replacements and upgrades to the district’s main field complex.

The project is expected to be completed before school opens in September.
