OCNY Pride 2019 parade set for June 9

WARWICK. Celebration of the LGBTQ community to be held at Warwick Valley Community Center from 11:20 a.m. to 4 p.m. that second Sunday in June

Spend a prideful, family-friendly day at Orange County’s Warwick Valley Community Center, complete with brunch, a parade, live entertainment and more.

The seventh OCNY Pride event, celebrating the LGBTQ community, starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Community Center, 11 Hamilton Ave. in the Village of Warwick.

Come decorate floats, make signs, noisemakers and body art for the parade, and enjoy a free rainbow bagel brunch and DJ Skyhook.

LGBTQ advocacy groups will be on-hand to chat, and there will be a selection of vendors to browse. The event is family-friendly.

All are welcome to march with their own banner.

Itinerary

11:30 to noon: Parade Prep Party at WV Community Center, with free rainbow bagel brunch, DJ, vendors, Outreach booths.
1:15 p.m. Speakers, parade line-up at WVCC
1:30 p.m. Parade Step-off
2 p.m. Railroad Green
2:15 p.m. Main Street
2:30 p.m. Community Center, Pride Show: Acting Out Playhouse, the OCNY Pride Drag Show and Luminous and Emma.
