Representatives from ShopRite presented a check for $235,000 to Hudson Valley Honor Flight at the send-off ceremony for Mission #22, which departed from Stewart International Airport on April 13. The funds were raised during ShopRite’s annual Veterans Fundraising Campaign. The contribution helped fund Mission #22 and will also lend financial support to future flights. Hudson Valley Honor Flight arranges one-day, all-expense-paid journeys for veterans that include visits to their respective war memorials. This flight included veterans from World War II and the Korean War.
