MONROE — The OC Raptors Baseball Travel 12U Team started their 2019 season with five games in two days this past weekend at the Cal Ripken Experience.

The team started with a win followed by extra-innings loss.

But the Raptors bounced back to avenge their loss to move forward in the championship bracket.

They won a decided victory in Game 4 to move on to the Championship game where they left it all on the field but fell short of winning.

They placed second in a field of 14 teams.

Follow the Raptors on Facebook and Instagram.

These boys are bound for Cooperstown at the end of August so there is a lot of baseball for the next five months.
