At the Section IX competition at Sullivan County, the Monroe-Woodbury High School Varsity Cheerleaders finished first among all schools. They will next compete at the CanAm National competition in Myrtle Beach, Florida, on March 15-17. Beginning with those kneeling, from left to right, the M-W Varsity Cheerleaders are: Victoria Perez, Kiersen German, Georgia Brink, Emily Campbell, Hannah Whitfield, Marissa Mitchell and Azules Rule; and those in the back row: Naya Flores, Haiely Genzale, Kelli Gatling, Elise Gaviola, Gina Pirraglia, Barbara Alidad (coach), Hayley Proscia, Isabelle Sterett, Gianna Panzica, Ashley Connolly, Giana Fraterrigo, Grace Kelly, Kayla Boscoglio, Maya McDonald and Danielle Guerra.
