Members of Cub Scout Pack 240 visited the Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Corps on Friday April 13. The scouts were working on their First Aid requirement. They learned CPR, how to apply a tourniquet and basic First Aid. The ambulance corps members took them through various exercises on what they should do in an emergency. The scouts had the opportunity to sit in the ambulance and learn what goes into caring for a patient on the way to the hospital.
