Dominic S. Ciorciari of Highland Mills passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 at Hackensack Meridian Health, Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, N.J. He was 78 years old.

The son of Angelo and Grace Carpenelli Ciorciari, he was born Feb. 13, 1940, in Brooklyn.

Dominic was a Flight Engineer/Pilot with the Air National Guard from 1960 through 1979 and a retired pilot with Fed Ex of Memphis, Tenn.

He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church of Highland Mills, a member of the American Marquetry Association and a member of the Air Line Pilots Association.

Survivors include his loving wife Rosemary (Rory) Myhre Ciorciari at home; his daughter Grace-Ann Napolitano and her husband John of Monroe; his son Jon Paul Ciorciari of Pomona; his brother John Anthony Ciorciari of Brooklyn; his sister Dolores Michaels of Bayside; three grandchildren: Eva, Marissa and Anna; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Jan. 13 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Monroe.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 14 at St. Patrick’s Church in Highland Mills.

Interment followed in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet.
