Lillian H. Jung of Central Valley passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at Sapphire Nursing & Rehabilitation at Goshen. She was 97 years old.

The daughter of Adam and Anna Louise Hustedt Jung, she was born in Queens on Oct. 18, 1921.

Lillian graduated from University of Richmond and worked as a legal secretary on Wall Street and a secretary at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, before moving to Central Valley in 1968.

Survivors include her niece, Pam Diamond, and two nephews, Jeff and Roger Diamond; two loving aides, Renee Sims and Ewelina Szypula; several caring friends, and her loving partner of 50 years, Carole Woodcock.

Lillian was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Norman Diamond.

Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, at Central Valley United Methodist Church.

Memorial donations may be made to the general fund of Central Valley United Methodist Church, 12 Smith Clove Road, Central Valley, NY 10917.
