How to get rid of political campaign signs

It is now more than seven weeks since the mid-term elections, and still there are numerous political signs all over the community, of both winners and losers, that have not been picked up and are still an eyesore.

What is wrong with these politicians, that they are very quick to place these signs, but refuse or forget to retrieve them?

Here is a solution: Have the local Boy Scout and/or Girl Scout troops retrieve these sign, and for every one they pick up, the winning and losing campaigns pay them, say $2 per sign.

This way the community will be free from this unsightly sign mess, and the Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops will reap the benefits.

Who ever does this community project will be doing the residents a favor, and the blight these signs represent will be corrected.

Thank-you.
