'The spirit of the season'

The Monroe Volunteer Ambulance was on call, as always, on Christmas day.

Our crew decided to go out to breakfast at IHOP that morning. While at IHOP, they received a call and the crew had to leave their breakfast.

A lovely family saw this and paid their bill as a thank you for their service.

The officers and members of the Monroe Volunteer Ambulance would like to extend a very warm thank you to this very generous family.

They truly embody the meaning of this season.

No matter your religion or background, a kind word or gesture is always appreciated.

Wishing everyone peace and happiness this season and throughout the new year!

Gratefully,

Nancy Peifer, President

Monroe Volunteer Ambulance
