GOSHEN — Stephanie Kistner has been appointed as Orange County’s tourism coordinator.
“We are very fortunate to have someone as talented and energetic as Stephanie to fill this important position,” Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus said in the press release announcing the selection. “Stephanie is hard-working and ambitious, and will be an asset to Orange County. The tourism industry continues to grow here and in the region. Working closely with Tourism Director Amanda Dana, Stephanie will play a key role in continuing this trend.”

She was an advertising sales planner for Scripps Networks Interactive, working exclusively on accounts for the Travel Channel and Great American Country Channel.
Kistner received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hofstra University in 2011.
“I’m impressed with Stephanie’s energy and the wealth of diverse experiences and ideas that she brings with her,” Dana said. “I’m confident that Stephanie is the right person at the right time for this position and we’re excited to welcome her. Her presence is a welcome addition to my hard-working staff and will help to position Orange County to be a leader in New York in terms of tourism success.”
Kistner added: “I am thankful that County Executive Neuhaus has given me the opportunity to become a part of the county’s impressive team. I can’t wait to contribute to the success of the county’s diverse tourism efforts during this exciting time of growth and expansion.”
