The Avevedo family joins Santa and Mrs. Claus ( a.k.a. Jim and Sue Foley) during the South Orange Family YMCA’s recent Holiday Party, a community gathering where more than 100 people came to have fun and play games while remembering those in need. The Y collected well more than 100 toys, which were donated to the Monroe community as well as other local organizations. Additionally, the Y adopted several families through its ‘"Jenna Tree" to help brighten those families’ holidays. Lastly, Y collected toiletries and donated them to Our Father’s Kitchen in Monroe to be distributed as needed. "We’re honored to be a part of this community and do our part to make the holiday season happier for as many children and families as possible," said Branch Executive Director Ross Miceli.
