Kathleen M. Hyde of Rock Tavern passed away on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. She was 57 years old.

The daughter of Patricia Bautz Hyde and Walter Hyde, she was born June 24, 1961, in the Bronx.

Kathleen was a Medical Billing Specialist for Ramapo Pulmonary & Medical Associates of West Nyack and a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church of Washingtonville.

Her family's statement reads: “She will be missed by family, friends and colleagues, and was known by many as Aunt Kathy.”

Survivors include her mother Patricia Hyde of Ruskin, Fla.; her brothers: Walter Hyde Jr. and his wife Janine of Selbyville, Del., John Hyde and his wife Mary of New Windsor and Thomas Hyde and his wife Lora of Salisbury Mills; her sisters: Theresa Baron of Ruskin, Fla., and Irene Hyde of New Windsor; and her nieces and nephews: Gregory, Walter, Juliann, Lauren, John, Katie, Colleen, Sarah, Thomas, Shannon, Kali, and Nicholas; and her great niece and nephew Leah and Noah.

Kathleen was predeceased by her brother James Hyde.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, at St. Mary's Church, 42 Goshen Ave., Washingtonville.

Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial donations made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hudson Valley, 832 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591-6602.
