CHESTER — History was made Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 11, at the Colonial Lanes in Chester when the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders Girls and Boys Varsity Bowling teams held their first-ever home matches in their inaugural season.

The teams are made up of 33 students from the high school grades 9-12 and are coached by Chris Vero.

The atmosphere was electric as Crusaders took on state powerhouse Kingston High School Tigers.

Both the girls and boys teams lost in close matches to the Tiger teams.

The Crusaders girls team was lead by Gabby Krummack, who had game high 157 and 377 series.

The boys were led by Codi Clark, who rolled a game-high 220 and a 617 series.

The Crusaders next home match at Colonial Lanes on Monday, Dec. 17, at 3:15 p.m.
