M-W Varsity Girls Swim and Dive team leaves FDR High School in its wake

CENTRAL VALLEY — On Sept. 6 the Crusaders took on the Presidents of FDR High School in an early season swim meet at the Middle School pool.
The Crusaders jumped out to an early lead, winning the first eight swimming races and the diving competition before the Presidents broke through and took the last three races.
Crusader Mackenzie Tuttle came in first in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and helped the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams finish first.
Kristin Lubeskie scored 282.95 to capture first in the dive competition.
Jessica O’Brien took first in the 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly and helped the 200 freestyle relay team take first.
Lauren Beneat came in first in the 500 freestyle and she helped the 200 freestyle and 200 medley teams win their races.
The Crusaders' 106-66 victory over the Presidents brings their record to 2-0 on the season.
