    Raymond E. Czarnecki of Monroe passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019, in Croton-on-Hudson. He was 70 years old.
    The son of Eugene and Doris Carlson Czarnecki, he was born Sept. 19, 1948, in Brooklyn.
    Raymond was an electrician for I.B.E.W., Local #3 in Queens. He also served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves.
    He was an avid lover of nature, astronomy and fishing.
    Survivors include his son Jeff Czarnecki of Monroe; his daughter Sarah Lewis and her husband Patrick of Long Island City; his brother Eugene Czarnecki Jr. of Highland Mills; his sister Laura Ann Czarnecki of Highland Mills; one niece and four nephews.
    He is predeceased by his wife Deena.
    Visitation was held May 16th at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave. in Monroe.
    A Funeral Mass was held at May 17 at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road Monroe.
    Interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn.
