The Highland Mills Food Pantry is open every Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. for all those in the community who are in need. The food pantry is dependent on the generosity of local individuals, organizations and stores and is run by volunteers, among them Mary Ratkowski, Ruth Warren and Rosalie Starr. A special food drive to accept donations will take place on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at the church.
