GOSHEN — The Orange County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Orange County Department of Health will host the annual Summer Family Film Fest at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery on July 27, Aug. 3 and Aug. 17.

PG-rated family movies will be shown outdoors on a giant, inflatable screen. Admission is free.

Residents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Gates will open at 7 p.m. each night and the movies will begin at dusk.

Prior to each show, there will be live music and games and prizes for children.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department will be on hand to promote their free children’s ID program – Operation Safe Child.

Orange Hospitality, the park’s caterer and food concessionaire, will have beverages and snacks available for purchase.

In case of inclement weather, the rain date for each movie night will be the following evening.

The Summer Family Film Fest is offered in conjunction with the Orange County Department of Health, which will be on hand each night with an information booth and giveaways for children.

For more information on the Summer Family Film Fest, contact Tom Quinlisk at the Parks Department at 457-4910 or TQuinlisk@orangecountygov.com.
