Missing those weeks when the snow and frigid temperatures consumed us all? Monroe resident Dan Ezratty's image of his car's thermometer reading 103 degrees Fahrenheit this past Monday while at Monroe-Woodbury Middle School reminded us all of how we looked to stay inside or near pools and lakes, checked on the elderly and those not well and drank lots of water during the sweltering heat experienced in the earlier part of the week. Temperatures which were in the 80s toward the latter half of the week may have seemed like frosty weather, when compared to early on. A Pinterest post may have said it best: "It's good to be in a relationship with an air conditioner."
