O&R Utilities Employees FCU awards $ 500 in college scholarships

MONROE — O&R Utilities Employees Federal Credit Union has awarded $500 in college scholarships to two high school seniors to help finance their college education.

The following recipients were selected based on their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements, honors, and awards, community activities and leadership awards:

• Georgia Tomford of Monroe-Woodbury High School; and

• Caleb Vreeland of Minisink Valley High School.

"Empowering the next generation is a key priority for O&R Utilities Employees Federal Credit Union, and we are proud to help these deserving students continue their education," said Armando Colarieti, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
