The Monroe Village Board honored five area Girl Scouts for their recent Gold Award achievements with individual proclamations earlier this week. Newly installed Mayor Neil Dwyer even wore a gold tie for the occasion. Gathering with their proclamations are: Trustee Carey Alley, Monroe Girl Scout Service Unit Manager Tanya Woods, Heidi Willins, Jacquelyn Imhof, Katarina Woods, Dwyer, Kendall Fiorianti, Alena DeLuise and Trustees Dorey Houle and Debbie Berhinger. Only five percent of Girl Scouts nationwide earn the award, the highest award a Girl Scout can earn.
