On Thursday afternoon, April 11, Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders hosted the Wizards of Washingtonville in a non-league baseball game.
The Crusaders scored twice in the bottom of the first inning with two outs. Davis Espinal singled and scored on Cal Caruso’s single and Sean Lynch singled to center and scored on Aidan Diltz’s double.
The Crusaders added to their lead in the third when Espinal scored on a Diltz’s single and Lynch scored on a wild pitch.
The Crusaders' 10 hit-attack was plenty of offense.
