The GU10 Hurricanes Purple took first place at the third annual MWUSC Mid-Winter Classic at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome on Jan 21. With a mix of excellent goal keeper play, strong defense, skill and teamwork, the Hurricanes Purple finished the tournament with a 4-0-0 record with seven goals for and one goal against. Pictured front row left to right are: Anna Llewellyn, Claire Morris, Lia Taber, Tea Proia, Molly Connolly and Deanna Murphy; and in back: Julia Lopez, Kaylen Baricevic, Leah Sheerin, Gianna Pacciarelli, Chloe Griffin and Fallon Durkin.
