Are there any requirements for high school athletes that would like to participate in their sport at the college level?

NCAA rules and how college recruiting is handled is complex and it is very important that all rules are diligently followed, or you may put the student at risk for being disqualified from the recruiting process and therefore participating in these sports at the college level.

Even when a college has made a formal offer there are GPA (grades), SAT and high school course minimum requirements that have to be met in order for the student to ultimately play a Division I or II college sport.

Go to the NCAA Eligibility Center on line that certifies the academic and amateur credentials of all college-bound student-athletes who wish to compete in Division I or II athletics.
