The new year is a clean slate, a chance to start anew. That means different things to different people. Some look to organize their lives; others aim to exercise more; still others work to correct their finances.

The most common resolution each January, not surprisingly, is to lose weight. More diets start on the first of the year (or the second) than at any other time.

There is more to overall good health than simply eating well and exercising. There are many things you can do to improve your health, some in big ways, and others much smaller.
