Amanda Krocian wins archery competition

MIDDLETOWN — Amanda Krocian of Monroe won first place in this year's Scholastic 3-D Archery Girl's Division.
The eight-week training camp and competition is held each year at B&B Archery in Middletown.
The program is designed to introduce youngsters to the sport of archery, ethical bow practices and safety.
It also promotes archery competitions at local, state and national levels.
Amanda is a student at Monroe-Woodbury Middle School where she will begin eighth grade in September.
She is currently training for future competitions.
