Sister Mary Albina Catalano, CSAC, a member of the congregation of the Sisters of the Catholic Apostolate (Pallottines) died Friday, November 22, 2017 at Queen of Apostles Convent in Monroe. She was 92 years old.

The daughter of and Josephine Cangani Catalano, Sister Mary Albina was born in Brooklyn on Jan. 9, 1925.

She entered the Pallottine Sisters on Sept. 1, 1947, and made her final Profession on Sept. 2, 1949.

She served the Apostolate as a teacher at various locations and celebrated her 70th Jubilee this year.

Visitation was held at Queen of Apostles Convent in Monroe on Nov. 24.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 25 at Queen of Apostles Chapel in Monroe. Interment followed in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Monroe.

May she rest in peace.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pallottine Sisters Memorial Fund, 98 Harriman Heights Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
