'My life was enriched by meeting many of you'

I want to express my thanks to the people of Monroe for the opportunity to serve as county legislator for the last eight years.

I worked hard to repay your trust and support by serving diligently on ten committees to ensure that your voice was represented and heard in the many ares of our county government’s oversight.

I tried to meet the issues with intelligence, integrity and an open mind in facing situations with honesty and transparency.

Whenever circumstances called for a strong voice in Statutory Committee meetings and in Legislative Sessions, everyone there heard and knew Monroe was in the room.

Along the way, my life was enriched by meeting many of you, and that was the best part of the experience for me.

Speeches, correspondences, reports and photos from my tenure will remain available at myrnakemnitz.com.

I am grateful to those of you who have given me your support.

Myrna K. Kemnitz,

Orange County Legislator,

District 7, Monroe
