CENTRAL VALLEY — Maeve Cassidy has had an impressive last two weeks on the tennis courts.

Maeve is the No. 1 singles player for the OCIAA Division 1 Champion Monroe-Woodbury Girls Varsity Tennis team.

She placed second in the OCIAA Singles Tournament held Oct.11-13 and followed that up with a fourth place finish in the Section IX Tennis Tournament on Oct. 17 and 18.

Maeve is the first ever seventh-grader to play #1 singles for the Crusaders and the first seventh-grader to place in the top two in the OCIAA Singles Tournament.
