Monroe Daisy Troop 572 recently visited Garden Gate Nursery on Route 17M in Chester for a "Roots and Shoots" gardening program. Each Daisy scout planted a jade plant, had ice cream, learned about planting, bees and other planting related tips. The nursery offers this program to various school groups.
