College Admissions Expert Elizabeth Levine: SAT Scores vs. ACT Scores
How do the SAT scores compare to the ACT scores?
Anxiety surrounding standardized tests can be paralyzing such as preparing for and taking the exam, understanding what colleges expect, what tests to take and what the scores mean. I want to share with you the comparison between the ACT scores vs. the SAT scores. As an example, if you receive a composite ACT score of 29 what is the equivalent SAT score?
I have listed below the comparison between the ACT Composite score and their equivalent SAT Reading and Math score, which is from act.org. There are 3 separate charts which cover a wider breadth but I felt the one below is the most widely used.
