POMONA — The Orange County Smash, a Monroe-based travel baseball program for 4-7 year olds, attended the Rockland Boulders game on Friday, Aug. 11.

The Boulders are an American independent professional baseball team based in Pomona in Rockland County. They are a member of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, also known as the Can-Am League.

The Smash players were treated to an on-field experience during the National Anthem as well as being featured on the Jumbotron.

According to the Smash coaches, the excitement on the players faces was priceless.

The team just started working out this summer and plans to focus on the development of its players in a fun atmosphere to promote a passion and love for the game.
