Monroe American Legion Post 488 Crusaders won the 20th annual Green Wave American Legion Senior Tournament held this past weekend in Oneonta. Post 488 Crusaders posted an undefeated record through the five-game tournament. The team is made up of players from the Monroe-Woodbury and Warwick Valley school districts. Pictured from left to right, in front, the 20th annual Green Wave Tournament Champions are: Andrew Jemison, Steven Campione, Johnny Bauer, Nick Weyant, David Ghiloni and Anthony Amoroso; and in back: Coach Chris Vero, Daveas Espinal, Brandon Bernard, Colin Weinert, Tyler Metcalf, GM Anthony Amoroso and Coach William Beyer.
