MONROE — The Crusaders took on the Bushmen of Pine Bush Tuesday and took control of the game early, going on to a 15-3 win.

The Crusaders' victory marks their first ever Section XI Division 1 regular season title and brings their season record to 13-1 and 5-0 in OCIAA Division 1 play.

The Crusaders' offense was led by Danny Fitzpatrick, who had five goals and five assists, Jack Fitzpatrick with four goals and one assist and Nick Brownson who chipped in one goal three assists.

The Crusaders' goalies both came up big with Gregory Bracco having seven saves and Andrew Shippee with four.

After the game, the team honored their seniors and their families with flowers in a brief ceremony.
