Daniel Saretto of Middletown passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. He was 64 years old.

The son of Placido and Helen Loturco Saretto, he was born Oct. 28, 1952, in the Bronx.

Daniel was the original owner and proprietor of Not Just Bagels in Central Valley and Goshen.

Daniel loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was devoted to his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife Gail D’Aquila Saretto at home; his daughter, Gina Newsome and her husband Ryan of Ridgewood, N.J.; his son Daniel Saretto Jr. and his wife Lidia of Circleville; his sisters: Patricia Chapins of Briarcliff Manor and Audrey McGregor of Florida, N.Y.; his granddaughter Mikaela Newsome, soon to arrive grandson baby Saretto and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.

Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
