'Just say no' to North Monroe

Orange County Legislature Chairman Steve Brescia wants to meet with representatives from both Monroe and Kiryas Joel for more discussion on whether to form a new town of North Monroe.

Our Constitution has the beautiful First Amendment which contains the "Establishment Clause," which "inherently prohibits the government from preferring any one religion over another."

Why would our legislators even consider establishing a new town that will promote segregation by catering to a specific religion?

When are our legislators going to "just say no."
