In a recent letter to The Photo News, Gedalye Szegedin, the Kiryas Joel village administrator, stated that United Monroe has disdain for Kiryas Joel.

While that may be true to some very small extent, it absolutely and unequivocally pales in comparison to the disdain Kiryas Joel has shown (for decades) for the people of the Monroe-Woodbury community, the local governments, the county and its government, the state and its government and the federal government by its failure to abide by any rules or regulations they don't like or that would hinder their unbridled expansion.

Mr. Szegedin, you, of all people, should not be talking about disdain.
