TUXEDO — Four young men from Tuxedo recently received their Eagle Scout certificates, patches and pin during Tuxedo/Sloatsburg Boy Scout Troop 2146's recent Court of Honor.

Ryan Brown became an Eagle in August 2015. His project was creating a training site for the Eagle Valley Firehouse in Tuxedo.

Kyle Murray became an Eagle Scout last December.

Murray painted reflective Maltese crosses in front of the fire hydrants in the Eagle Valley and Laurel Ridge sections of Tuxedo.

James O'Reilly also became an Eagle Scouts last December.

O'Reilly built 20 kuranda-style beds for the Blooming Grove Humane Society.

Matthew Willins became an Eagle Scout this past January. His project was the beautification of Table Rock Pond in Tuxedo,

The Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). The designation "Eagle Scout" has a long history since its founding over 100 years ago.

Only four percent of Boy Scouts are granted this rank after a lengthy review process.
