TUXEDO — Lights will be shining in the Town of Tuxedo this weekend, beginning with the annual tree lighting and visit by Santa Claus this evening, Dec. 4, at the Tuxedo Train Station evergreen tree.
At 5:15 p.m., gather for the “Sounds of the Season” led by the George F. Baker High School Choir and Band.
The Big Man in Red and Mrs. Claus will arrived promptly at 5:30 p.m. on Sterling Forest Fire Company’s 1921 American la France Antique Fire Truck. He’ll make his first stop at the town tree to illuminate the finest greens of Tuxedo. Festivities will follow in the Historical Tuxedo Train Station with crafts and photo opportunities with Santa.
First night of HanukkahThen on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m., Rabbi Pesach Burston from Orange County Chabad will help light the Town Menorah on the first night of Hanukkah. Refreshments, songs and traditional Hanukkah games will follow.
