TUXEDO — The following is a listing of Tuxedo School District December events:

• Friday, Dec. 4: The George F. Baker High School choir and band will perform at the Town of Tuxedo’s annual tree-lighting ceremony at the Tuxedo Train Station’s “Town Tree” at 5:15 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at 5:30 p.m. on board the Sterling Forest Fire Company’s 1921 American la France antique fire truck.

• Friday, Dec. 4: Movie night at George Grant Mason School. “Frozen” will be shown from 6 to 8 p.m., chaperoned by National Honor Society students giving parents an opportunity to go holiday shopping.

• Tuesday, Dec. 8: George Grant Mason School holiday concert. Kindergarten to third-grade performances are at 9 a.m.; fourth to sixth-grade concert begins at 7 p.m.

• Tuesday, Dec. 15: George F. Baker High School winter concert for grades 7 to 12 at 7 p.m.

• Thursday, Dec. 17: George F. Baker High School seventh and eighth-grade STEM-focused applied sciences morning field trip to Rockland County Solid Waste Management Authority in Hillburn. Field strip continues in the afternoon with a STEM-focused applied and computer science trip to the Challenger Center in Airmont.

• Thursday, Dec. 17: George F. Baker High School ninth and 10th grade STEM-focused environmental sciences field trip to Sterling Hill Mining Museum in Ogdensburg, N.J.

• Thursday, Dec. 17: George F. Baker High School 11th and 12th grade STEM-focused health and applied science field trip to Genpak Food Service Packaging in Middletown.

• Thursday, Dec. 24 to Friday, Jan. 1: Holiday recess. Schools reopen Monday, Jan. 4.
