The George F. Baker High School Varsity Volleyball team, which will compete in Class D this year, began its season with a non-league win over Class A Goshen in front of a home crowd. Led by seniors Emma Meore (10 kills), Madeline Doyle (15 service points) and Tara O'Dell (8 digs), the team won in three straight sets. Tuxedo's JV squad also won their match against Goshen 2 sets to 1. From left to right, team members are: Daria Fatemi, Tara O'Dell, Emily Dowling, Isabel Minano, Coach Michelle Hines, Alexandra Garcia, Kristen Costello, Emma Meore and Madeline Doyle.
