Tuxedo budget passes

TUXEDO — Voters in the Tuxedo School District approved a $14 million budget on Tuesday which raises spending by 11 percent.
Th $14,167.143 budget was approved by a vote of 508-188.
Voters chose two new school board members and re-elected a third.
Diana Petrosky was re-elected to the school board with 482 votes.
Mary Vaught led all candidates with 484 votes in her election to the board. She will be joined on the board by Allyson Arber, who received 463 votes.
Angela Mulvaney lost her seat on the board after receiving 160 votes.
Joe Rickard earned 211 voters, the most for the candidates not elected to the school board.
Mary Fidelis-Feeley received 173 votes, Raymond Ferri picked up 55 votes and Edward Colletti earned 36 votes.
