MONROE —Smith's Clove Park sponsored it's annual Egg Hunt on Saturday April 12.

Participants were separated into four age groups; under 3, 3 to 4, 5 to 7 and 8 to 10.

Three thousand multi-colored eggs were scattered around the two playground areas and the open field near the upper pavilion as each group scrambled to find the marked eggs indicating that they had won one of the many prizes donated by Fran's Hallmark.

As the kids were focused on collecting all the eggs, the Monroe Ambulance Corps escorted the Easter Bunny to the park where she met with about 160 children and handed out goody bags.

As they were leaving, each family received a gladiolus plant for their outside garden.

Lisa Killion from Willow Creek Farm in Vernon, N.J., was also on hand with her pony rides and group of barnyard animals for the kids to pet and feed.
