TUXEDO — Tuxedo Town Supervisor Peter M. Dolan received the keys to the town, the thanks of firefighters and chamber of commerce officials and the recognition of colleagues across the county at his last Town Board meeting this week.

Michael D. Rost, who ran on the Republican, Conservative and Independent parties in November, will take over as Tuxedo's town supervisor in the new year. He defeated Dolan, a Democrat, by a vote of 500 to 369 on election day.

But Monday night belonged to Dolan, who held the supervisor's office for eight years.
