MONROE — The Monroe-Woodbury Rotary Club will be at next Saturday’s Cheese Festival in Monroe with a fully set-up ShelterBox tent.

Rotary officials invite people to stop by its booth on Sept. 7 to meet its volunteers, to learn about what the service organization does locally and elsewhere and to get an idea of how ShelterBox tents provide relief from the elements for people who have just survived a disaster such as the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the tornadoes in Oklahoma.

The Monroe-Woodbury Rotary is making a donation to ShelterBox; the club has already received donations from the Monroe-Woodbury High School’s Interact Club and a local Boy Scout troop. The club will be accepting additional donations (either in cash or by credit card) for ShelterBox. To learn more about this world-wide disaster relief organization, visit
